Our two-week African safari with Motsomi Safari was truly the trip of a lifetime. From the moment we arrived until the day we left; the experience exceeded every expectation we had.![]()
Our professional hunter, Marco, was exceptional. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide. His professionalism, knowledge of the animals, and hunting expertise were outstanding. Beyond hunting, he shared his deep love for South Africa, its history, and the local area, making every day an incredible learning experience. He always took the time to answer our questions and explain what we were seeing, which made the adventure even more meaningful. His upbeat personality made every day enjoyable, and he made both my husband and me feel completely at ease. The time and patience that he gave to help me fulfil My spring buck slam was a gift. He worked so hard to help me fulfil my wish. And he made it happen.!![]()
One of my favourite memories was when Marco surprised us with picnic lunches on special days. Sitting out in the African bush enjoying lunch together was something I’ll never forget. It was those thoughtful touches that made the trip so special.![]()
The Motsomi ranch itself is absolutely beautiful—peaceful, relaxing, and breathtaking. The entire staff went above and beyond to make sure every detail was perfect. Their hospitality made us feel like family from the very beginning.![]()
The food was another highlight. Every meal was delicious, and we enjoyed trying adventurous local dishes that were surprisingly amazing. It was all part of the authentic South African experience.![]()
If you’re considering a safari in South Africa, I can’t recommend Motsomi Safari highly enough. They delivered everything they promised and so much more. Thank you, Marco, and the entire Motsomi team, for giving us memories that will last a lifetime. We hope to return someday!![]()
